The Social Justice Division is a group of eight tribunals and boards which resolve applications and appeals related to child and family services oversight, youth justice, human rights, residential tenancies, income support, compensation for victims of violent crime, and special education.
SJD is made up of Child and Family Services Review Board, Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Custody Review Board, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Landlord and Tenant Board, Ontario Special Education (English) Tribunal, Ontario Special Education (French) Tribunal and Social Benefits Tribunal.
